Victoria Byers is an up and coming professional artist located in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. In 2016, she received a BFA with a concentration in Photography, a BA in Spanish, and a minor in Art History from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Though her artistic practices stem from a focus in Photographic processes, Byers has experience in the fields of Installation, Painting, and Fibers work as well. Her photographic bodies of work exemplify the multi-disciplinary approach that she uses in her art-making processes and convey a well-rounded knowledge of craft and construction     

Byers’s work Nowhere | Now Here, a solo exhibition of works by Byers and Hispanic children in the area, was recently on display at the Levine Museum of the New South. Her work was also recently featured in Apple Pie, Out of the Blue: Explorations in CyanotypeA is for…, a two-part exhibition of alphabetical visual exploration, and Form and Flux: the senior show for 2D and 3D students pursuing a Bachelors of Fine Arts at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Byers's work is published in the 2016 issue of Sanskrit Literary-Arts Magazine and in the associated gallery show. Her image The White Rabbit was published in the Spring 2016 issue of Photographer’s Forum Magazine for the Emerging Professional.
